Our Services

Waterproofing support from concept to construction.

Allco works alongside architects, specifiers, engineers and applicators to improve waterproofing outcomes at every stage. Our support focuses on practical detailing, well-matched systems, real-world insight, and the right documentation. From challenging ground conditions to junction complexity, we help clarify decisions and reduce risk.

Early advice, especially for complex sites

Our Technical Advisory team, including a geotechnical engineer, engages early to assess risk and recommend the right system from the outset. For sites with challenges, such as reclaimed land, saltwater exposure or ground contamination, early input ensures waterproofing systems suit local conditions. Allco’s 50-year track record in Aotearoa New Zealand, and the real-world product experience that brings, underpins our recommendations.

Documentation support and applicator selection

A dedicated Allco Technical Advisor works closely with your design team to develop project-specific specification documents, example CAD details and guidance for complex junctions – particularly where systems interface. Our coordinated Masterspec specifications are consent-ready, with all our information developed to reduce RFIs. And we are available to clarify any queries through the consenting process.

At this stage, we also recommend an approved Allco applicator suited to the project’s scope, location and warranty requirements, giving confidence in delivery and system performance.

Pre-installation coordination

Before work starts on site, Allco facilitates a pre-installation meeting with the main contractor and the Allco-approved applicator to align on sequencing, site conditions and responsibilities. These sessions clarify expectations and highlight any installation challenges early, ensuring a streamlined install, accuracy and warranty compliance.

On-site guidance and quality assurance

During installation, Allco’s project Technical Advisor carries out site visits to support the applicator, monitor conditions and document progress with photos and technical site notes. Their presence provides assurance that systems are installed to spec – monitoring workmanship and site conditions to spot any potential issues early and recommend solutions to keep the installation moving forward and meeting programme milestones.

System verification and warranty sign-off

When installation is complete, Allco’s project Technical Advisor reviews the full QA documentation to confirm the system has been installed to spec. When approved, this confirms system warranties, covering both product and installation. It’s an important checkpoint that protects building owners and main contractors, reassures architects, and completes all the building paperwork for waterproofing.

For large, complex projects, Allco offer a special 20-year warranty package where we are involved at the very outset, recommend the exact system, and are across every detail. We also choose the best applicator based on experience and project scale. Contact us for more information on this extended warranty.

Continued technical partnership

Allco maintains long-standing relationships with specifiers, applicators and councils through expert support, CPD training and technical updates. This continuity builds knowledge for future projects, helping teams maintain confidence with advances in building waterproofing. By sharing expertise and collaborating with architects and applicators, we help raise waterproofing standards across the industry – supporting resilient architecture and better outcomes for the built environment.
