Centrament Proof 10

A new generation of concrete protection, Centrament Proof 10 is a high-performance crystalline waterproofing admixture from MC-Bauchemie.
Providing Type B barrier (structurally integral protection as per British Standards 8102:2022), CP10 turns concrete into a watertight barrier from within. Added directly to the mix, it seals pores and capillaries through crystal-forming reactions that make the concrete itself resistant to water ingress, chemical attack, and long-term deterioration. CP10 extends the durability of concrete structures by strengthening the waterproofing barrier from within.
When combined with Allco’s Type A barrier (membrane systems), this Type B (structurally integral) admixture creates a robust dual protection system. The combination of internal crystalline sealing and external membrane protection significantly reduces the risk of water ingress, offering enhanced resilience for below-ground structures. The dual-system approach is an essential solution for habitable basements and high-risk locations.

Performance
Form: Powder admixture (grey)
Mechanism: Crystalline, self-sealing waterproofing reaction
Crack Healing: Up to 0.4 mm (400 µm)
Resistance: Hydrostatic pressure, frost, de-icing salts, chlorides, and sulphates
Durability: Reduced carbonation and chemical ingress; extended concrete lifespan
Dosage: 5–15 g per kg cement (recommended)
Mix Design: w/c ≤ 0.45 | cement ≥ 350 kg/m³
Packaging: 18 kg bags | Shelf Life: 12 months (dry, unopened)
Compatibility: Can be combined with Centrament Proof HL 20 for an added hydrophobic effect
Application Advice:
- Add CP 10 early in the mixing process (preferably to dry aggregate).
- Mix for at least 45 seconds before adding cement and other admixtures.
For optimal results, use with a high-quality water-reducing or superplasticising admixture.
