Bitumen DPM

Allco Casali Bitumen Damp Proof Membranes are self-adhesive or torch applied damp proof membranes (DPM) for use in low risk, non-hydrostatic conditions, providing a single layer vapour-barrier protection to below ground concrete structures.
Please note that our DPM membrane system is not a Waterproofing System and has only vapour barrier properties. If you require a waterproofing system please see our Volclay range or refer to Allco for clarification.
The Casali Bitumen Damp Proof Membrane system has a variety of membranes:
Casali Aderix (self-adhesive): Perfect for walls requiring a peel-and-stick application.
Casali Olympia (PBS): Ideal for under-slab applications with torched laps or walls with torched applications.
Casali Dermafil (chipped cap sheet): Suitable for walls with torched application and transitions to above ground.
Casali Eradix (specific root stop membrane): Designed for planter boxes.

Performance
When installed following the technical literature, Allco Bitumen Casali Damp Proof Membranes will prevent water vapour from penetrating through below-ground concrete structures to interior spaces where moisture may cause damage.
The membrane has a vapour flow resistance of not less than 90 MN s/g.
Clause B2 DURABILITY: Performance B2.3.1 (a) not less than 50 years.
Clause E2 EXTERNAL MOISTURE: Performance E2.3.3.
Clause F2 HAZARDOUS BUILDING MATERIALS: Performance F2.3.1. Allco Casali Bitumen Damp Proof Membranes meets this requirement.
