Crest Apartments
The mix development of commercial space, townhouses and 5 levels apartment tower required a robust system of waterproofing for exposed to rain areas at both ground retail level and elevated apartment tower balconies. Apart from a waterproofing system required for the pitched roof of the apartment tower a proven system is also required for zero pitched substrates at balconies, decks and roofs of the townhouses.
Allco Solution
Allco Casali two layer torched on membrane was installed on the apartment pitched tower roof, consisting of Casali Dermafill (4mm) base sheet and Dermabit Extra (4mm) mineral chip finish as protective cap sheet.
The concrete flat roofs of the townhouses required a special solution of waterproofing construction and Allco Hydrotech system was selected for the purpose.
Exposed terraces, decks and balconies of every level of the apartment tower and townhouses were also protected and waterproofed by Allco Hydrotech system underlaid beneath a spacer support system of tiles and pavers. Similarly, a waterproofing system suitable for zero falls were required at the important exterior entry level of the entire commercial deck and Hydrotech concept was selected.
