Allco is proud to have contributed to the success of the Auckland Central Library’s living roof—an ambitious project now delivering tangible environmental benefits after 18 months of in-depth monitoring by Auckland Council and Living Roofs Aotearoa.
We’re proud to share we are now Carbon Conscious Certified Business, dedicated to continuously evaluate our operations for potential improvements. We recognise our role as a leading supplier in the New Zealand construction industry and we understand the importance of acknowledging and minimising our environmental impact.
What started as a standard refurbishment and repair, evolved into a unique opportunity to create a living green roof with over two thousand low maintenance native New Zealand plants installed so far and with a further 300 to 400 plants being planted over the coming months to improve the overall coverage.
