Expanding Our Membrane Offer with Bituthene® and Preprufe®
Allco is now a New Zealand distributor for two of the industry’s most recognised below-ground membranes: Bituthene® and Preprufe® from GCP. These products have long been trusted in the New Zealand market for their reliability, proven performance, and strong track record across a wide range of projects.
Bringing Bituthene® and Preprufe® into the Allco family strengthens our Type A offer, allowing us to support projects with an even wider selection of high-performing, proven solutions. They complement our well-known, trusted Volclay and Swelltite bentonite membranes from CETCO, as well as our reliable Casali DPM range, giving specifiers and contractors confidence that Allco can provide a membrane for every below-ground challenge.
Introducing a New Category: CP 10 Concrete Waterproofing Admixture
We’re also expanding into a new product category with Centrament Proof 10 (CP 10) from MC-Bauchemie, our first admixture solution and an important step in supporting complete Type B protection.
CP 10 is a new-generation crystalline waterproofing admixture that transforms concrete into a watertight barrier from the inside out. Added directly to the concrete mix, it seals capillaries and pores through crystal-forming chemistry, providing:
- Structurally integral waterproofing
- Resistance to water ingress and chemical attack
- Reduced long-term deterioration
- Improved durability in below-ground structures
This addition ensures Allco can now support both Type A (membrane) and Type B (integral) waterproofing strategies—an increasingly important distinction as British Standard BS 8102:2022 continues to influence New Zealand’s expectations and design practices.
