Coatings for concrete, asphalt and mineral surfaces to protect against water and chemical damage and to enhance the beauty of the substrate.

Waterproof Coatings & Water Repellents:

 FBS_Thumb.gif   AQUELLA

Cementitious waterproof coating for concrete & masonry internal & subgrade walls & floors. Expands minutely upon curing, completely filling pores. When applied correctly, AQUELLA is 100% waterproof. Cures hard white and can be painted with any paint suitable for concrete or overlaid with carpet, wood, etc. AQUELLA is simply mixed with water and painted onto a predampened surface. Coverage of 1 – 1.5 square metres per kilogram. Very cost effective.

FBS_Thumb.gif   AQUELLUX S

Colourless solvent-based Silane/Siloxane water repellent for concrete, bricks, roofing tiles, fibrous cement, etc. Prevents water from entering structure (even rain driven at storm velocities), but allows water vapour to pass from substrate to atmosphere. Helps keep the structure dry, clean and free from growth (moss, lichen and mildew) by reducing or eliminating water entry. Long-lasting (over 10 years for one application), high performance. May be over-painted at a later date. AQUELLUX S should be used to protect all exposed mineral surfaces from water damage. As it does not alter the appearance of the surface, it can also be used to protect architectural structures and plaster coatings, etc.

 FBS_Thumb.gif   SILAC

Premium acrylic modified silicone water repellent for absorbent substrates, especially Oamaru stone. Provides all the benefits of AQUELLUX S, and the acrylic component provides an anti-dusting/densifying action on dusty surfaces. Very long lasting (over 17 years documented performance). Also recommended for stone carvings. SILAC should be used to protect all Oamaru stone and limestone walls, roofs, etc., and inclined surfaces from damage due to weather, spalling due to frost or freezing and corrosion due to waterborne chemicals.
