Extruded seals with perforated flanges embedded in high-strength, flexible, impact-absorbing elastomeric nosing.
Nosing material is two-part polyurethane reinforced with fiberglass and silica sand. Aggregate loading is conservatively maintained at less than two parts aggregate to one part resin by weight in order to preserve optimum balance between compressive strength, flexibility, and attenuation of errant snow plow shocks.
System becomes integral with deck as nosing material penetrates perforations and bonds to the concrete.
Cold-applied nosing mortar is self-curing and requires no outside heat source.
Nosing material flows uniformly and is easily troweled.
For terminations/transitions to vertical surfaces, non-sag additive is available for nosing material.
Santoprene‚ seals are heat-weldable enabling provision of a continuous seal through factory-fabricated transitions and terminations.
